To understand Christmas, we need to understand who Jesus is and what He gave for us. It gives us a direction for what He intends for our lives.
Is service a “second tier” gift? Not according to Paul, who lists it between “prophecy” and “teaching.”
As we look at the gifts that draw the most attention, such as prophecy and tongues, how should we understand them and their place in the church?
What does it mean to have gifts in the church? What are their purpose? What is my purpose?
God calls us to do His good work — and sometimes that means taking time for rest.
We get so wrapped up in the things we need to do — spiritual or “earthly” — that we miss out on spending time with God.
Our Earthly obligations aren’t contrary to serving our God.
