PSALMS 34 CHAPTER OF COMFORT AND ENCOURAGEMENT Taste and see that the Lord is good. How blessed is the one who takes comfort in Him? I like verse 22, “The Lord redeems the life of his servants’ none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned.” God encourages us to take refuge in Him and comfort us that he will take care of us.

PSALMS 35 Once friends with David, now fighting against David. I don’t think I have ever experienced this situation before. I had friends that faded away after a while.

PSALMS 36 Contend, O LORD, with those who contend with me; fight against those who fight against me! God is on your side. Let them be put to shame and dishonor who seek after my life! God will protect you from those who dislike you because of your relationship with Christ.

These Psalms are all so comforting for refocusing on on where our true security is. People may walk away from us and break our trust. Others might think they can find delight in the temptations of the world. But, security, peace and lasting joy come from the Lord and Him alone.
