Over Lent, we have been looking at how sin sneaks into our lives in unexpected ways. During Holy Week, we will look at a few particularly “sneaky snakes” and the one who has overcome all our sins.
During our Sunday worship service at 5:30 p.m. in-person and online, we will continue our series on the Lord’s Prayer, thinking about how temptation often comes right when we feel like we are focused on God. Just as it did for the people who hailed their king that first Palm Sunday.
Can we miss God’s work in the midst of our “priorities”? As we walk through Holy Week we see how even the Pharisees’ superficially laudable efforts ended up blinding them to what God was calling them to take part in.
A special online and in-person Maundy Thursday journey through the Gospels’ account of the night Jesus was betrayed and His subsequent crucifixion. Please share this time with us, as we reflect on the healing and restoring love of our Savior that brings eternal life.
Different members of our community will share parts of the reading as we meditate on the love Jesus has shown us. We hope you will be part of this meditative time that prepares us for the joy of Easter.
We will be posting some prayer prompts throughout the day on our social media channels. Please join in praying along as we reflect on what Jesus has done for us and how He sends us out to proclaim His love.
Christ the Lord is Risen! Back at the origin point of sin, God promised that He would raise up the One who would crush the serpent and rescue humanity from death. On Easter, we see He did just that.
