This Week at Little Hills streams every Sunday night with a brief thought from God’s Word and a preview of the upcoming week at the church. This year we are embarking on a journey through the Psalms, looking at three Psalms each week. Please join us!
The Bible calls us to pray on all occasions and to constantly pray for God’s people (Ephesians 6:18). This Spring, more than 600 people from all over responded to the call to gather and pray at our Spring Online Prayer Walk. It was an incredible, encouraging day that we know the Lord used in powerful ways and one we are eager to repeat. Let’s join together to pray in Jesus’s name once again at our second Online Prayer Walk today, August 20! We are excited to see what God will do through this time!
We are called every day to pray without ceasing and to rejoice before our God (1 Thess. 5:16-18). In that spirit and in partnership with our friends at other churches via FaithTree, we are part of an online prayer walk happening today, May 14! We are excited to see what God will do through this time!
We are called every day to pray without ceasing and to rejoice before our God (1 Thess. 5:16-18). FaithTree had planned a Spring Prayer Walk to pray for our community in that spirit that had to be canceled last month due to the situation around the coronavirus. However, in partnership with our sponsoring churches, other wonderful area churches and individuals throughout the community, we are going to have an online prayer walk today, May 14! We are excited to see what God will do through this time!
Pastor Tim shares a meditation on the Easter Hope we have from our Mighty Fortress, Jesus. We look at 1 Corinthians 15:20-21 and Ps. 46:8-11.
Pastor Tim continues our three-week live streaming series from Psalm 57, looking at verses 7-11. How do we worship God in the hard times when we don’t feel very worshipful? We dig into that question this week.
Pastor Tim continues our three-week live streaming series, Steadfast, with Psalm 57:4-6. How do we look up to God to escape the “lions of life”? The Psalmist points us to God’s victory for help.
With “social distancing” shutting down much of our society, including traditional, in-person Bible studies, we are working with FaithTree to offering a Men’s Bible Study for men of all ages going through the Book of Isaiah. It will be facilitated by Little Hills’ Pastor Tim and Bible Baptist Church’s Pastor Brad.
These are uncertain times and, normally, in such seasons we rightly want the comfort God provides through His church. The doors of the nation’s churches are largely closed for the safety of all of those who would otherwise attend, yet the church doors being closed does not mean the church is closed or, more importantly, that God’s care for you is somehow “closed.” Our partner churches are busy putting together online opportunities for worship, encouragement from God’s Word, prayer and more, and we’re launching our first ever online Bible study at FaithTree, too.
With “social distancing” shutting down much of our society, including traditional, in-person Bible studies, FaithTree is offering a Men’s Bible Study for men of all ages going through the comforting Servant Songs of the Book of Isaiah. It will be facilitated by two pastors familiar to FaithTree, Pastor Tim (of Little Hills Church) and Pastor Brad (of Bible Baptist Church).
